The first ever BBC (British Born Cypriot) IDOL Talent Show which took place on June 26th 2007, to a full house, at the Millfield Theatre in Enfield was by all accounts an unmitigated success.
BBC (British Born Cypriot) Idol

This Final consisted of 5 singing acts, Louisa and Marianna, Simon Angeli, Nathalie-Miranda Ioannou, N V US and Elena Kyriacou. The contestants delighted the audience and were all in top form to the enjoyment of everyone present. The overall winners were Dimitri and Manoli of N V US and close runner up was 18 year old Elena Kyriacou.

Musical Production Manager, Ralph Dartford, said "An Excellent Show, It's great that the opportunity was given to showcase what would otherwise be hidden talent. I think this should be repeated on a bigger scale."
TV Presenter Tonia Buxton said ‘A Wonderful Show, enjoyed by all’. Doros Partasides of Rik TV said ‘A fantastic idea’.

Chairman of the Leukaemia Society Maria Nicolaou said ‘Words cannot express the gratitude and respect we have for Martha and Eve. Beyond taking the time to get to know us and our business, they are creative thinkers and great problem solvers. No matter what idea we throw their way, they bring it to life. Because of their skill and attention to detail, we never worried about the show coming together.

We were indeed honoured to have secured such an impressive line up of judges, John Themis, DJ Ritu, Ralph Dartford, Vassilis Panayi and Tonia Buxton, who surveyed the exciting talent. We recognise the tight work schedules faced by these professionals and feel greatly privileged that they volunteered their time and services to the charity. A big thank you also to Pavlos Doukanaris, Chaz Koshi and Antigoni Buxton for their guest performances on the night.

We are so grateful for the generosity and thoughtfulness of all the businesses and individuals who gave resources, time, and support, our many thanks to the following who have donated the prize package for tonight’s winner, Studio Mixologist and Jimmy Sarikas, Producer Chaz Koshi, Doros Partasides and RIK TV, John Kyriacou of Blu Ray Ltd, Ralph Dartford and Millfield Theatre. Our thanks are also extended to all who have contributed in anyway to the success of this event. Last but certainly not least our contestants who wowed us with their great voices, we wish them all great success’.
