A Message from Team Manager Eugene Brown to Staff and Management:

Now Let’s Talk Business!

As you all know in the years that we have been supporting tenants/ service users, we have always worked hard ensuring maximization of individual incomes, in doing so we have consulted with several charities to ensure that the latter happens. This time around we decided that by having a tennis fun day we could raise funds for “ The Leukaemia Society UK”  Some of you have already attended several functions hosted by the Leukaemia Society. You may log on to their website and check out the good work they have been doing.

How are we going to raise funds for our chosen charity?

We hope that donation from the T shirts will raise enough funds for the society. Also raffle tickets on sale the afternoon of the tournament will help towards the amount we hope to raise. In the light of all this information I would envisage knowing how generous our staff teams are to give no less than £4 towards their T shirts.  I also expect that the various teams will put their Tennis skills to test building up to the day of the tournament (23rd September 2008)

The expected teams to compete are as follows;

  • Team Barnet                                         (TB)
  • Team West Green Road                         (TWGR)
  • Team Haringey including all Schemes      (TH)
  • Team Board Members &  CEO                 (TBSMT)
  • Team Housing & Finance                        (THF)

The Leukaemia Society says "A Big thank you to Hornsey Housing Trust for their support and Good Luck with this event"
