SATURDAY 14TH MARCH 2009 is an important day in the calendar for the Leukaemia Society (UK).
The First Lady of Cyprus Mrs Elsie Christofia, is dedicating this day to raise awareness of this terrible disease and also raise much needed funds to help the charity continue its life saving work. High on the agenda for this eventful day is a Fundraising Tea Party, where the First Lady of Cyprus and medical experts will address the guests.
The event which is organised in conjunction with the Cypriot Women’s League in the UK, will take place at the Cypriot Community Centre in Wood Green at 3pm. Entrance tickets cost only £10. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the work of the Leukaemia Society.
For further information or to reserve your entrance tickets please call the Leukaemia Society on 020 8374 4821 or call the charity’s Co-ordinator Androulla Stylianou direct on 07872633508 or by email info@leukaemiasociety.org .
